Republican Primary August 2016
Dr. Rammell and Chris Matthews battle over the Constitution
and State's Rights on Hard Ball in 2010.

Dr. Rammell's 10th Amendment position:

Transfer all federally controlled public lands back to Wyoming and the West. The federal government controls 50% of Wyoming's land and 75% of the mineral rights. Wyoming never entered statehood on equal footing as required by the Northwest Ordinance. The Forest Reserve Act 1891 which gave authority to the President of the United States to reserve (withhold) land from the western states was unconstitutional. The only property allowed by the U. S. Constitution is found in Article 1, Section 8:

To exercise exclusive legislation in all cases whatsoever, over such District (not exceeding ten miles square) as may, by cession of particular states, and the acceptance of Congress, become the seat of the government of the United States, and to exercise like authority over all places purchased by the consent of the legislature of the state in which the same shall be, for the erection of forts, magazines, arsenals, dockyards, and other needful buildings;

This will end the reign of tyranny by the EPA, the BLM, the Forest Service, and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife This is a battle that must be fought and won. It will change the West and America. It will embolden the states to assert more rights like the right to oppose gay marriage, the right to oppose abortion, the right to oppose mandated health care, the right to oppose Common Core, the right to oppose Gun Control laws, and many, many more usurpation of states' right. No longer will Wyoming and the West be held hostage to the will of Washington liberals. I will form a coalition of western state senators and congressmen and bring this battle to the front.
